Howdy, I hope you all are doing well.. as we all know the current scenario of lockdown. meanwhile, everyone tried many dishes some are new and some are experimental dishes because I do the same. Nachos is one of those dishes that I tried in lockdown the first time. I know it’s too late but that was the first time. There are enough words to express the taste of Nachos. so here I’m going to share How to make Healthy Nachos + spicy salsa Recipe.

History of Nacho’s

According to Wikipedia Nachos originated in the city of Piedras Negras, Coahuila at victory club in 1940. when Mamie Finan, a regular customer came and asked for a different snack than usual for her and her three friends. Anaya went to the kitchen and spotted freshly fried pieces of corn tortillas. In a moment of culinary inspiration, he added melted cheese and pickled jalapeño strips. Anaya cut the tortillas into triangles, fried them, added shredded Colby cheese, quickly heated them, added sliced pickled jalapeño peppers, and served them. so After tasting the snack, Finan asked what it was called. Anaya responded, “Well, I guess we can just call them Nacho’s Special.”

How to make Healthy Nachos + spicy salsa Recipe

I heard soo many times that nachos and potato chips are the same but..but I don’t know why they said and how can they recognize that both are the same..are they try Nachos..? Healthy, cheese, crispy, full of flavor are nachos..even though Nachos also has many variations like Omelets has.

NACHOS WITH SALSA 

Preparation time 20 minutes

Cooking time 20-25 minutes

Serving 4

Ingredients For Nachos Dough

  • ½ cup Maize flour, roasted
  • ¼ cup Refined flour
  • ½ cup Whole wheat flour  
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic water  
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • Water 

Ingredients For Salsa

  • 2 medium Tomatoes, boiled
  • 1 medium Onion, chopped   
  • 2 tbsp Tomato ketchup 
  • 2 fresh Green chillies, chopped  
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ small Lemon juice
  • 2 pinch Black Pepper Powder
  • chili Flackes to taste

Other Ingredients

  • Oil for frying  
  • 2 tsp Nacho spices 
  • Fresh Coriander leaves

Direction

  • In a bowl add maize flour, refined flour, whole wheat flour, salt, ginger-garlic water, vinegar and water after that make a soft dough, keep rest for 10-15 min.
  • Now take a small portion of the dough and roll it thin using a rolling pin like chapati but very thin.
  • Then half cook it on a hot flat pan from both sides and then cut in strips and then in triangle shape. Like nachoos look.
  • Heat oil for deep frying and then fry these triangles in medium hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove on an paper, then add the Nacho spice and mix it properly, then keep aside.
  • Here nachos are ready , and now we can go to salsa process.
  • Roughly chop the vegetables (if you are using a veg chopper) 
  • Add vegetables to a food processor along with spices and lime juice.
  • Chop in quick bursts until it’s finely chopped up.
